It becomes the destination of a journey for three children, each with a different reason for wanting to reach its summit. Sam, who is battling cancer, believes in the mountain’s healing power. Mallory longs to find friends, while Bronco has always dreamed of conquering Taranaki, a place deeply respected by his ancestors.
The journey will not be easy—not only must they face the challenges of the wild, but the group of young explorers must also avoid their parents, who are searching for them.
